The 2008 Boats to Tools auction has something for everyone! 

Anyone Can Bid - Anyone Can Donate. 
And each and every bid benefits North House!

 The auction serves two important purposes:

** it finds "new homes" for great stuff **
Used boats, timber    frames, woodworking tools, camping equipment & more. Got a boat    or woodworking tool that you want to hand off?  Put it in the auction!

** it raises funds for North House's educational efforts **
Funding the school's program equipment & underwriting the 
   costs of hosting free public programs

Please note: The Auction is not limited to wooden boats. Anything and everything that floats (or sinks) is welcome.  A link to printable auction registration/ donation form is included above.

The listing of 2007 auction items is quickly taking shape.  Included below is a brief initial listing of featured items (stay tuned for more information). Resources to donate items can be downloaded online (see above) or can be picked up/requested from North House 218-387-9762.  Auction items can be dropped off anytime starting June 9, 2007.

During June, many of the larger auction items will be on display on the North House campus. Smaller items will be available for viewing (and bidding) throughout the day on Saturday.  Look below to discover auction items from PAST years - a 2007 list will be posted soon.

Each year the Boats to Tools Auction includes both a live auction and a silent auction.  Auction items range from timber frames to hand-crafted baskets, hand planes to sailboats, outboard motors to gift certificates.  Anyone can bid.  Anyone can donate.

Making A Donation
Anyone can participate in the auction as a donor.  Auction items may be either fully donated to North House or may be sold on an 75/25 or 50/50 split between the owner and North House. The donated of any auction sale is fully tax deductible.  Use the following link for a printable form if you want to make a donation to the Boats to Tools Auction:

The sooner you donate your item the better (starting June 9, 2007), as this allows North House to highlight your item on this web site.  Be sure to let us know your plans as soon as possible.
